Saw chains with different tooth types are available as accessories for the MS 212 C-BE chainsaw: saw chain 3/8P PS3 1.3mm 50 drive links and saw chain 3/8 PD3 1.3mm 50 drive links. Chain oil for lubricating the saw chain and guide bar: FORESTPLUS and BIOPLUS, and two-stroke engine oil: HP Super or HP ULTRA. A maintenance kit, MS182,212 Kit 19, is available for servicing, and is easy to use to ensure a longer service life for the machine. See related products!

Using the unique 4-channel technology developed by STIHL, a cushion of fresh air is created between the combustion residues and the fresh fuel. The carburettor control system keeps engine performance, exhaust emission quality and fuel consumption almost constant over a long period, despite increasing air filter contamination.
