Saw chains with different tooth types are available as accessories for the MS 182 chainsaw: saw chain 3/8P PS3 1.3mm 50 drive links and saw chain 3/8 PD3 1.3mm 50 drive links. Chain oil for lubricating the saw chain and guide bar: FORESTPLUS and BIOPLUS, and two-stroke engine oil: HP Super or HP ULTRA. Using the unique 4-channel technology developed by STIHL, a cushion of fresh air is created between the combustion residues and the fresh fuel. This reduces the amount of fuel that ends up among the combustion residues, thereby reducing fuel consumption. This also produces fewer exhaust gases and the engine operation is kinder to nature. The carburettor control system keeps engine performance, exhaust emission quality and fuel consumption almost constant over a long period, despite increasing air filter contamination. Therefore, only clean the air filter once performance has noticeably decreased. This means you can work maintenance-free for a long time.
