The starting lever is particularly convenient, allowing you to perform all functions with just one hand. If you take a break and stop the engine, the chainsaw is immediately in starting position, because the lever, combined with the stop function, automatically returns to the working position.
Quick chain tensioning and the ErgoStart easy-start system make the work particularly convenient. No tools are needed to tension the chain. Starting the machine is easy and doesn't require a sudden, forceful pull. Comfort is further enhanced by the pre-separation air filter system, which extends the filter's service life.

Using the unique 4-channel technology developed by STIHL, a cushion of fresh air is created between the combustion residues and the fresh fuel.
