STIHL 2-MIX®

2-MIX: Using the unique four-channel technology developed by STIHL, a cushion of fresh air is created between the combustion gases and the fresh fuel. This cushion reduces the amount of fresh fuel that ends up among the combustion gases, thereby cutting fuel consumption. This also produces fewer exhaust emissions, making the engine's operation kinder to the environment.

About guide bars

STIHL produces a full range of guide bars for all STIHL chainsaws. With a few exceptions,
all STIHL guide bars use the oil-saving Ematic system. Every guide bar marked with the letter E
is an Ematic guide bar. STIHL guide bars are available in a wide range of lengths and in gauges of 1.1 mm (Rollomatic
Mini), 1.3 mm, 1.5 mm and 1.6 mm.
The contour of the various guide bars is optimised to meet the following requirements:
– cutting performance,
– straight-line cutting,
– kickback behaviour,
– durability.
