The MS 162 chainsaw set includes:

For the MS 162 chainsaw, optional saw chains with different cutter types are available: chain 3/8P PS3 1.3 mm 44 drive links and chain 3/8P PD3 1.3 mm 44 drive links. For lubricating the chain and the guide bar there is FORESTPLUS and BIOPLUS chain oil, and HP Super or HP ULTRA two-stroke oil. Why choose STIHL 2-MIX engines?
Using the unique 4-channel technology developed by STIHL, a cushion of fresh air is created between the combustion residues and the fresh fuel. This reduces the amount of fuel that ends up among the combustion residues, thereby reducing fuel consumption. This also produces fewer exhaust gases and the engine operation is kinder to nature. STIHL 2-MIX® technology has up to 20% lower fuel consumption and up to 70% lower exhaust emissions compared with STIHL two-stroke engines of the same power class without 2-MIX technology.

FOR LOWER FUEL CONSUMPTION AND HIGHER PERFORMANCE. Thanks to STIHL's four-channel technology, you can work with your tool in a particularly fuel-efficient way. Four transfer channels direct the fuel-air mixture into the cylinder in a targeted and compressed manner, which burns fuel more efficiently and significantly increases engine performance.

LESS MAINTENANCE. The carburettor control system keeps engine performance, exhaust emission quality and fuel consumption almost constant over a long period, despite increasing air filter contamination. Therefore, only clean the air filter once performance has noticeably decreased. This means you can work maintenance-free for a long time.
