This is a carbide-tipped saw chain designed for the STIHL MS 462 C-M R rescue saw. The carbide tips withstand nail-embedded timber, armoured glass and composite materials. A carbide chain is not sharpened by hand.
Before fitting, make sure that the chain pitch (3/8 inch), gauge (1.6 mm) and number of drive links (72) match the guide bar.
