The STIHL plastic wedge is a wedge for felling and splitting work, made from polyamide. The surface of the wedge is roughened on both sides, making it easier to keep in place while working. The 19 cm wedge is suitable for medium-diameter tree trunks.
The material is impact-resistant even at low temperatures and does not damage the chainsaw chain if the chain comes into contact with the wedge. The wedge can be struck with the flat of an axe or a hammer.
