A single-person earth auger equipped with the QuickStop quick brake, which protects the user against knocks and twisting. Suitable for a variety of landscaping and road-construction jobs. Time- and effort-saving drilling of ground and planting holes and the taking of soil samples. Fitted with a frame support pad for greater ease of use.
The only one-man auger on the market that may be used to drill soil, because only this machine has the auger brake patented by STIHL, which protects the user from kickback! Suitable for drilling fence-post holes, as a planting auger, as an ice auger, for mixing compound or for other similar purposes.
On the augers available as accessories, both the auger heads and the auger bits can be replaced. This keeps costs low and gives an advantage over many competitors.

Automatic auger brake:
It engages automatically in the event of kickback caused by drilling against a stone or root. This ensures that the auger does not twist the hands of the user or pose a danger to the user. If there is no auger brake (ice augers), drilling soil is prohibited, as it can cause serious injury to the user.
STIHL anti-vibration system:
On earth augers fitted with STIHL anti-vibration bushings and springs, significantly less engine and drilling vibration is transmitted to the user's hands. This allows longer working days and less tiring work.
Long-life filter system:
Gives the air filter a long service life (depending on the operating environment of the machine) and reduces the need for regular filter cleaning.
Fuel pump: ensures easy starting.
