Technical features
Brushless EC electric motor – especially efficient and at the same time maintenance-free. There are fewer moving parts inside the motor, which means that every drop of the battery's power is transferred solely to driving the motor round.
Clean and quiet – STIHL cordless equipment is ideal for use in noise-sensitive areas (around schools, kindergartens, hospitals, blocks of flats, publicly used parks, etc.). The electric motor also produces no harmful exhaust fumes. STIHL cordless equipment is so quiet that it can be used without ear protection, and even indoors.
Rain is not a problem – STIHL cordless equipment can be used in the rain too.
The absence of cables means greater freedom of movement – STIHL cordless equipment is light and has a very low vibration level, and is also easy to use. The absence of cables means a huge amount of freedom of movement, both around the home and when working in public places.

The accessories range includes various products to make STIHL cordless equipment even more convenient to use. For example, there is a Battery belt, which lets you take the weight of the battery off the machine and carry the battery conveniently on your belt instead. There is also a special cleaning and lubricating spray for hedge trimmer blades, which prevents a sticky layer of plant sap from forming on the blades and at the same time cleans the blades of various plant residues.

STIHL CORDLESS PRODUCTS COMPACT SERIES
The STIHL COMPACT cordless product series is ideal for the hobby user for carrying out most maintenance tasks in the garden. The range comprises four machines and two batteries of different capacities. As a particularly convenient solution, they are also available as a complete set, i.e. the battery and charger come with the machine. As in the exemplary PRO series range, several new and interesting cordless tools will be added to the COMPACT product series in the near future. One charger and battery fit all Compact-series products!

Cordless tools for home users for quiet and convenient work. With built-in batteries and a charger included in the price, the D-line is ideal for a small home garden or a terraced house. STIHL and VIKING cordless tools make all garden work easy. Emission-free, quiet and 100% mobile.
The new STIHL cordless trimmer for home users with an integrated 18V/2.0Ah Lithium-Ion battery. Telescopic shaft and a very ergonomic design. Battery charge indicator that gives a clear overview of battery use. The machine comes with a charger and a PolyCut 2-2 mowing head, which can also be used with lines of diameter Ø1.4; Ø1.6.
Working time at 100% battery charge with plastic blades ~15 min and with trimmer line ~8 min.

STIHL CORDLESS HEDGE TRIMMER HSA 45
The new STIHL cordless hedge trimmer for home users with an integrated 18V/2.0Ah Lithium-Ion battery and charger. Ideal for trimming year-old shoots up to 5 mm and shaping hedges. Compact, quiet, light and easy to maintain. Battery charge indicator with safety key. The blade length is 50 cm and the blade also has a tip protector.
Working time depends on use, the difficulty of the work and the battery charge. Under normal conditions the battery lasts ~40 minutes. After work we recommend cleaning and lubricating the blades with STIHL hedge trimmer blade lubricant spray.
