The Stiga ST 700e cordless snow blower makes clearing snow easier and faster

Winter weather usually brings with it the need to clear snow. With the modern, environmentally friendly battery-powered Stiga 700-series snow blower, this job can be done much faster and with less effort than by hand. The snow blower has two battery installation slots. This means you can buy an additional battery for this set (4Ah-E 440; 5Ah-E 450; or 7.5Ah-E 475) and use them at the same time. Stiga's intuitive dual-battery system uses one or two batteries, intelligently synchronising them and balancing power consumption. This in turn ensures a longer battery life. The batteries can also be used in other STIGA 500, 700 and 900 series garden tools.

The snow blower's brushless motor ensures a longer duty cycle, so you can get more work done at once. Bright LED headlights make working with the blower safe and comfortable on dim and dark mornings or evenings. It is precisely the headlights that keep the blower user safe and clearly visible in poor weather conditions. The folding handle makes storing the machine space-saving.

Starting the machine:

1. press the safety button on the right of the machine handle;
2. pull the yellow lever in front of the handle towards the handle, and the motor will start. Remember that releasing the yellow lever will stop the motor.

Holding the handle and the start lever with one hand, with your other hand you can control the direction and distance of the snow discharge exactly as you wish. To set the discharge direction, turn the longer ergonomic lever in the middle of the machine handle. The lever on the deflector lets you easily change the snow discharge distance (approx. 1-6 m). Working this way, you can use the snow blower near doorways, terraces or boundaries without accidentally blowing snow onto your own terrace or into a neighbour's garden.

An important practical tip: 

1. 1. After each use we recommend cleaning the rotor and discharge opening of any snow that has collected there.
   2. After each use we recommend removing the battery from the device and taking it to a warm, dry room. Check the battery's charge level. If it is low or completely empty, put the battery to charge immediately. Do not leave a (half-)empty battery standing! Bear in mind that leaving a half-empty battery in sub-zero temperatures significantly reduces the battery's service life.
   3. How to check the battery charge? Find the four indicator lights on the battery. Next to them is a button which, when pressed, tells you the battery charge level: 4 green lights = full battery… no lights = empty battery.
