STIGA BC 450 HD

The STIGA BC 450 HD petrol grass cutter has a 48 cm³ (1.5 kW) four-stroke Honda petrol engine that is quiet and very easy to start. The four-stroke engine provides lower emissions, low vibration and high performance, as well as fuel savings and easy maintenance. The cutter runs on clean petrol with no oil mix. The cutter has a Tap&Go twin-line trimmer head with a 43 cm cutting diameter that releases line with a light tap on the ground. The cutter's excellent power-to-weight ratio ensures the machine is optimally balanced. The brushcutter has a T-shaped handle and a harness that make working with and steering/controlling the machine comfortable. The set's 255 mm 3H three-tooth blade is ideal for cutting taller hay.

Practical recommendations:

When working with the cutter, we strongly recommend using a face mask with a Perspex or mesh visor, non-slip protective gloves and ear defenders. Work clothes should be of sturdy material so that grass, small stones, etc. flying against the body do not cause injury. We recommend wearing safety footwear or wellington boots.

We recommend servicing all tools regularly. The grass cutter's gearbox should be checked a few times during the season and grease added if necessary. After each use, the cutter must be cleaned of grass and dust. The grass blade must not be bent, as this will cause vibration. You should also make sure it is sharp. The blade can be sharpened yourself, but it is advisable to have this done in a workshop.

To ensure the best engine performance and optimum lubrication, we recommend using A95 petrol and special Stiga oil.
