As the smallest model in the series, the zero-turn 500S can navigate tight spaces without sacrificing commercial-grade features. Ample fuel capacity, large drive wheels for extra grip, and a commercial-grade drive system put the 500S well ahead of the competition. Its patented, adjustable-shock suspension system and shock-mounted floating front axle help you get through long mowing days more comfortably. The three-in-one mower deck offers unique versatility and can be set up for rear discharge, side discharge, and also has two different mulching levels.

ENGINE

• The Briggs & Stratton® CXi Series engine is equipped with a unique 5-stage integrated cyclonic air cleaning system.
• The 5-stage air cleaner is a step forward in cleaning the air entering the engine from airborne dust.
• An easy-to-use oil drain tube for quick and clean oil changes.

CUTTING DECK

• Triple mowing technology: The all-in-one solution includes side discharge, rear discharge and mulching capability.
• Cutting height: 3.8 – 11.4 cm (1.5" – 4.5") adjustable in 0.6 cm (.25") steps
• Lubricatable cast-aluminium mower spindles.

CHASSIS / FRAME

• The patented suspension system, which significantly increases operator comfort and productivity, includes:
  • Pivoting front axle with spring shock absorbers
  • Rear suspension with trailing arms on a pivoting carriage and large adjustable coil-over shocks.
• Independent Hydro-Gear® ZT-3100® drive motors, each equipped with an oil filter, a charge pump, check valves and a maximum torque of 474 Nm.
• Metal C-channel frame 38.1 x 76.2 mm with 2.7 mm wall thickness.
• A robust rear bumper protects the engine compartment.

CONTROLS AND COMFORT SYSTEMS

• The spacious operator's seat is equipped with an ergonomically positioned control panel and a cup holder.
