Which robotic mower brands does Saemeister sell and install
Saemeister sells and installs EGO, STIGA and STIHL robotic mowers, both models with a boundary wire and cable-free models. The robotic mower range includes dozens of models, including the EGO Aura RMR1500E, RMR3000E and RMR6000E, the STIGA A series models from A 6v to A 140v as well as the G600 and G1200, and also STIHL iMOW models, including the iMOW RMI 632 C.
What robotic mower installation includes
For robotic mowers with a boundary wire (e.g. STIHL iMOW, STIGA G series), a wire is installed around the boundary of the area to be mowed; for cable-free models (EGO AURA, STIGA A series) no wire is installed - it is not needed. For some robotic mowers, installation is included in the price as part of a promotion; this is stated in the product name or on the product page. The installation price includes the cost of the service work including VAT, to which the cost of the wire and necessary connection accessories is added. The boundary wire is installed under the turf with a special installation machine, which cuts a small groove into the turf that soon closes up and does not damage the lawn surface, or it is fixed on top of the lawn with wire pegs, in which case the cost of the pegs is added. The size of the area to be installed is measured using the Estonian Land Board's map application.

- If desired, an on-site plot inspection can be ordered before the quote is prepared, priced at 54 euros (in Tartu and up to 15 km from the Tartu city boundary; a call-out fee is added for greater distances).
- Saemeister prepares a personalised price quote based on the size of the area to be mowed and the garden layout.
- On the installation day, the boundary wire and charging station are installed, and the robotic mower is set up and made ready for use on the plot.
How much does robotic mower installation cost
The price of the robot installation package depends on the area of the lawn to be mowed. Prices include VAT and apply in Tartu and up to 15 km from the Tartu city boundary.

Further away from the Tartu city boundary on mainland Estonia, a call-out fee of 1.80 euros per kilometre is added for the portion exceeding 15 km, calculated for the return journey. If the wire needs to be installed under paving, a charge of 54 euros per hour is added for the paving work. If the maximum time given in the table is exceeded due to special client requests, garden layout or the specific nature of the site, a service charge of 54 euros per hour is added. A double rate applies to all service prices for installation or call-outs ordered outside normal working hours.
If the boundary wire of an installed robotic mower breaks or the boundary needs to be changed, a call-out including up to 1 hour of work on-site costs 75 euros (locating the wire break with special equipment or changing the boundary), with each additional hour costing 54 euros, plus materials separately.
What area robotic mower installation covers
The prices given above apply to installations in Tartu and up to 15 km from the Tartu city boundary. The offer applies on mainland Estonia; for installations on the islands, Saemeister prepares a personalised quote.
Service packages
After installation, a service package can also be chosen for the robotic mower on the Robot service packages. The basic service (89 euros) includes a thorough cleaning of the robotic mower, checking the cutting system and replacing the blades, checking the wheels and bearings, checking the battery and charging, and checking and, if possible, updating the software. New blades and their replacement are included in the price of the service package; any other spare parts needed and additional repair work are agreed separately with the customer.
Is winter servicing offered for robotic mowers
Yes. The winter storage package (149 euros) includes the basic service plus winter storage of the robotic mower and charging station with a battery charge check – the customer brings the robotic mower to Saemeister themselves in autumn and collects it in spring. The full-service package (189 euros) includes, in addition to the basic service and winter storage, collection of the robot and charging station in autumn and return delivery in spring, as well as setting it up ready for use on the plot – the transport fee is included in the price in Tartu and up to 15 km from the Tartu city boundary, with 1.80 euros per kilometre added for the portion exceeding 15 km further away. Saemeister also services and takes in for winter storage robotic mowers from other manufacturers according to its technical capabilities, but four-wheel-drive (AWD) robotic mowers are not currently accepted for servicing or winter storage. The number of winter storage places is limited.
