The Fiskars X17 is a medium-sized splitting axe suitable for splitting medium-thickness logs. The axe is designed for manually splitting fresh and medium quantities of wood.
The axe has a FiberComp composite shaft, which is lightweight and durable, and a hard-alloy steel blade with a non-stick coating. A balanced weight distribution and blade geometry make splitting more efficient. The M designation refers to a medium shaft length.
