The STIHL trimmer line on a spool is a 1.6 mm line, pre-wound on a spool and ready to fit into the mowing head.
The spool fits STIHL AutoCut type mowing heads, for example on the FSA 56 cordless trimmer and the FSE 52 electric trimmer. A worn spool can be quickly replaced with a new one, without winding the line by hand. The 1.6 mm line is suitable for mowing grass and lawn edges in the home garden.
