Cordless lawn tractors are here to stay! Their easy handling, modern electronics and low noise and vibration make them increasingly popular among lawn tractors. Stiga has launched a new, larger and more powerful cordless lawn tractor, the Tornado 7108e. Thanks to the wider cutting deck you need to drive less (saving time!), smart cutting modes let you use the tractor more versatilely; patented blade motors and seven electrically adjusted cutting heights ensure excellent cutting precision; the One Pedal Drive function – what comfort and smooth driving! When mowing larger areas, cruise control adds to the ease of use. This tractor has no levers or linkages – simply press the sensitive buttons on the control panel. With a single press you can start mowing, adjust the cutting height and speed, switch the lights on and more.

While mowing, the blade speed can be adjusted in 3 different modes: Standard, Boost and Eco-Mode, depending on the desired result and the condition of the lawn being maintained. Boost mode increases blade speed in particularly tough mowing conditions, which involves higher energy consumption. The ECO-mode system reduces blade speed and saves energy, which extends the tractor's operating time and increases the area that can be mown. Using ECO-mode requires dry and relatively short grass.

The tractor is powered by unique STIGA ePower batteries, tested in extreme conditions to ensure their highest performance and reliability. The batteries' efficiency is supported by cell-managing electronics and software and by the special design of the batteries, which leaves enough room around each cell for cooling.

The tractor has a very high level of moisture resistance (IP65), so the tractor can be used in rainy weather and the mowing unit washed with running water using a special wash connector (the electrical components are fully insulated and protected).

The STIGA Vehicle Management System performs continuous diagnostics, records data and communicates with the STIGA.GO app. Thanks to this, the user can optimise mowing in real time on their mobile phone, monitoring for example how much mowing area is left or when to return home before the battery runs out.
With the STIGA.GO app you can view the tractor's parameters, plan battery charging, monitor the battery charge level, view scheduled maintenance, contact your dealer and share the tractor's information with them.

The towed ATTACHMENTS for tractors can also be used with cordless lawn tractors. A lawn roller and spreader are suitable for maintaining larger lawn areas. Mown grass or autumn leaves can be collected with the grass and leaf collector. A trailer can be used for various household tasks.

It is worth noting that a cordless tractor has significantly fewer parts requiring maintenance and replacement than a petrol-engined tractor. The tractor does not need spark plug, air filter or oil changes. The tractor has no drive or blade belts and no pulleys.
