STIHL saw chain with 3/8 inch pitch, 1.6 mm gauge and 84 drive links, cutting length 63 cm. Rapid Hexa is a full-chisel chain for professional forestry work: the hexagonal cutter profile gives a fast, clean cut with low vibration.
A Hexa chain is sharpened only with the hexagonal Hexa file; an ordinary round file will not do. The hexagonal file gives the cutter a 60-degree side plate angle and a 25-degree sharpening angle.
Before fitting, make sure the chain pitch (3/8 in), gauge (1.6 mm) and number of drive links (84) match the guide bar.
