A quality, easy-starting Stiga BC 730B petrol grass cutter for those whose jobs are heavier and larger than simply trimming lawn edges. The BC 730 B is designed for clearing overgrown grass, woody scrub and other poorly maintained areas. The cutter is light in weight yet sturdily built, with an excellent balance of power and weight. Power comes from a 25.4 cm³ air-cooled two-stroke petrol engine with an anti-vibration system. The straight, lightweight aluminium shaft, ergonomic padded handles and harness make the work more comfortable and reduce strain during longer working periods.

When working with the cutter, we strongly recommend using a face mask with a Perspex or mesh visor, non-slip protective gloves and ear defenders. Work clothes should be of sturdy material so that grass, small stones, etc. flying against the body do not cause injury. We recommend wearing safety footwear or wellington boots.

We recommend servicing all tools regularly. The grass cutter's gearbox should be checked a few times during the season and grease added if necessary. After each use, the cutter must be cleaned of grass and dust. The grass blade must not be bent, as this will cause vibration. You should also make sure it is sharp. The blade can be sharpened yourself, but it is advisable to have this done in a workshop.

To ensure the best engine performance and optimum lubrication, we recommend using A95 petrol and special Stiga oil.
