Fiskars X-series™ axes deliver unique performance and ergonomics with every swing. The perfectly balanced X24 splitting axe offers refined motion and splitting power in a single blow.
The extremely sharp and innovative forged steel splits wood more efficiently. The sharp edge is double-hardened so it stays sharp for longer. The wider blade and splitting wedge provide more power and make it easier to remove the axe from the wood.
A friction-reducing coating lets the blade glide easily through the wood and helps prevent rusting.
The cast-in axe-head connection is firmly attached to the handle. X-series™ axes are practically impossible to break and have a light yet extremely durable FiberComp™ handle that dampens shocks and protects against overstrikes. The curved handle keeps the wrist in a comfortable, neutral position. Compared with the standard one, the larger-textured SoftGrip™ coated area provides a firm grip, and the curved handle end improves safety before, during and after the movement.
