The STIHL guide bar suits smaller chainsaws running a 1/4 inch pitch saw chain. The Rollomatic E construction consists of three electrically welded steel plates, the middle one hollowed out for lower weight and good rigidity.
The bar has a 1/4 inch pitch, a 1.3 mm gauge and a 35 cm (14 in) cutting length. It takes a 1/4 inch saw chain with 72 drive links. The number 3005 denotes the STIHL bar mount type, by which the matching saw and chain are selected.
