The STIHL Carving guide bar is designed for fine cutting and carving work. The bar's narrow, pointed nose makes it possible to work precisely and to turn in tight spaces, for example when cutting wood sculptures.
The bar pitch is 1/4 inch, the gauge is 1.3 mm and the cutting length is 30 cm (12 inches). A 1/4 inch saw chain is used with the carving bar. The number 3005 indicates the STIHL bar mount type, which determines the matching saw and saw chain.
