The Pottiputki planting tube is a well-established planting tool of Swedish origin. It is used for planting container-grown plants. Working with the Pottiputki planting tube is especially ergonomic, as it is operated in an upright position. There is no need to bend down and planting productivity increases. To plant, the planting tube is driven into mineral soil using the cushioned handle and the tip in the soil is then opened with the foot pedal. Drop the plant in from the top, pull the tube away and gently firm the soil around the plant with your foot. A five-step adjustable depth stop makes it easier to maintain the desired planting depth.
