Unlike other manufacturers, we mount our batteries on the outside of the tool rather than inside it, to ensure cooling. They are protected from dust and moisture by a resin coating and from impact and vibration by an absorbing housing.

Battery storage
Keep the battery clean and dry and do not leave it in direct sunlight or heat. If the battery is not used for about a month, it automatically discharges itself and goes into sleep mode at 30% charge. This self-maintenance extends the battery life. During self-maintenance, the 5 battery LEDs light up red for 10 seconds, switch off for 10 seconds and light up red again, or the 5 LEDs flash green every two seconds (depending on the battery version). This is normal. If the battery has been stored for a month or longer, fully charge it before the next use.

When the product is registered, the EGO Power+ 10Ah battery carries an extended warranty of 36 months for private users and 24 months for professional users.
