Power Boost – Maximum performance increase. Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL tools and batteries communicate with one another. When the tool and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always delivers the maximum possible power for the task in hand. To ensure optimal battery operation, the tool temporarily reduces the power during overly intensive use.
The battery weighs just 1.3 kg, with an energy content of 187 Wh and 5.2 Ah at 100% charge, delivering 1.9 kW of power.
A minimum of 1,200 charging cycles is guaranteed.
The battery can be used in the rain, as it meets IPX4 requirements.

As accessories, a battery belt, a belt-mounted battery bag and a battery backpack are available. A strong, ergonomically shaped belt for holding STIHL lithium-ion batteries, to make work even easier. Carry the battery on the battery belt or in the battery backpack to reduce the total weight of the hand-held battery tool. Power is transmitted via a battery adapter (an accessory on the battery backpack), which is connected to the tool by a strong, flexible cable.
