Infrared heaters for patios, homes and workshops

The Saemeister range includes Veltron infrared heaters, gas patio heaters, infrared heating panels and industrial infrared heaters with outputs from 1.8 to 13 kW, plus matching stands, brackets and dimmers. An infrared heater warms people and objects directly rather than the air, so you can feel the heat as soon as it is switched on, even on a cool and windy patio.

How to choose the output of an infrared heater

Choose the output according to the area you want to heat. According to Veltron, a 2 kW infrared heater heats an area of around 9 to 12 m², a 2.5 kW model around 16 to 24 m² and a 3 kW model around 26 m². Workshops, warehouses and other large spaces use 4 to 12 kW industrial infrared heaters, which cover around 30 to 130 m².

Outdoors, the actual warmth is also affected by the wind, the mounting height and whether the patio is sheltered at the sides. On an open patio, it is worth choosing a more powerful model or installing several heaters.

Choosing between an electric infrared heater and a gas patio heater

An electric infrared heater can be mounted on a wall, on the ceiling or on a stand. The 2 and 2.5 kW models run from an ordinary socket on a 10 A fuse, and many models can be controlled with a remote and have adjustable output. A gas patio heater, such as the 13 kW Veltron TOWER PREMIUM FH-1000M, needs no electricity and is well suited to open-air patios and outdoor events.

Infrared heating panels for indoor use

Veltron infrared heating panels with outputs of 1.8 and 2.4 kW are suitable for heating homes, summer cottages and verandas, and can be controlled from a smart device via Wi-Fi. The panel is mounted on a wall or ceiling.
